PMA entrance exam set on Aug 28 in Dumaguete City

DUMAGUETE CITY, Aug. 24 (PIA) The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) has called on healthy Negrense who are 17 to 21 years old to take the PMA entrance examination at Silliman University on August 28.

More than a hundred candidates are expected to get the examination this year in Negros Oriental as the same of last year, said PMA Officer-in-Charge Examiner Vladimir Gracilla.

Gracilla said interested walk-in applicants are accepted and advised to bring the following requirements, a true copy of High School Form 137, birth certificate, 2″ x 2″ ID picture and Mongol pencil.

An applicant must be at least 5 ft. 4 in. tall for male and 5 ft. 2 in. for females but not and a least a high school graduate with a general average of at least 85%; and able to perform the minimum requirements for physical fitness test.

The examination covers the following subjects: Algebra and Geometry, Grammar and Composition, Reading and Comprehension, Verbal and Numerical Reasoning and Pattern Analysis.

This annual entrance examination for all applicants who dream of joining the Philippine Military Academy, the premier military institution of the country will be conducted in 37 testing centers nationwide on Sunday. (PIA NegOr/JCT)
