DUMAGUETE CITY, Sept. 20 (PIA)--The Department
of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) has
postponed the 2014 undergraduate scholarship examination in Zamboanga City and
nearby provinces due to the ensuing crisis between government troops and the
Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF).
In a press statement, DOST secretary
Mario Montejo said the scholarship exam scheduled on September
22 will be postponed in the areas of Zamboanga City, Zamboanga Sibugay,
Dipolog City, Pagadian City, Basilan Province, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.(mbcn/JCT/PIA7-Negros
