Philippine Collegiate Champions League set in NegOr

DUMAGUETE CITY, Oct 13 (PIA) -- The regional finals of the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) for basketball is set on October 13-16 at the Lamberto Macias Sports and Cultural Center, Dumaguete City. 

Jose Guirit, City Sports consultant and PCCL Dumaguete-in-charge, said participating champion teams from the cities of Bacolod, Iloilo, Ormoc and Tagbilaran will compete against each other during the event. 

Guirit said Tagbilaran City will play a knock-out game against the Governor’s Cup champion Asian College on October 13 to qualify to the regional finals. 

Participating teams include champions in their respective areas, namely, West Negros University - Bacolod champion; University of Iloilo - Iloilo champion; Western Leyte College - Ormoc/Tacloban champion; Bohol Institute of Technology- Bohol champion; and Asian College as Dumaguete City champion.
