DUMAGUETE CITY, July 9 (PIA)--A “no noon-break” policy is being
observed by the Dumaguete City local government effective July 2 to ensure
continuous service especially in its front line departments.
City mayor Manuel Sagarbarria directrf public officials, department heads, chiefs of office and city hall employees to adopt an appropriate working schedule for their employees to ensure continuous service.
All departments and offices have been directed to leave a skeletal force that could serve the transacting public during lunch breaks.
The measures are in accordance with the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) of 2007 and Republic Act No. 9485 , otherwise known as An Act to improve the efficiency in the delivery of Government Service to Public by reducing Bureaucratic Red tape and providing penalties thereafter.
